From trading baseball cards and autograph sessions to Royals BP outings and our end-of-season picnic, we create experiences that strengthen friendships, build character, and make every season unforgettable. Explore some of the ways we bring fun, connection, and team spirit to life.
Several years ago, we started handing out baseball cards periodically after the games. The kids love baseball cards. They look up to many of the MLB players with dreams of getting to one day play in the majors. We still do. It gives them a chance to visit with their teammates, trade cards, and enjoy our national pasttime.
Another tradition we do is at the end of the season, we host a team autograph session where players sign baseballs for each other. It’s a great way to build camaraderie, reflect on the season, and create lasting memories.
One of our most exciting team traditions is attending a Kansas City Royals Batting Practice session. Players get a behind-the-scenes look at the big leagues—watching MLB hitters up close, soaking in the stadium atmosphere, enjoying the game, and sometimes even snagging autographs. It’s an unforgettable experience that inspires our athletes and brings the team together in a big-league setting.
We close out the season with a fun-filled picnic for players and their families—a chance to celebrate the team’s growth, share stories, and enjoy great food together. The highlight of the day is our legendary Kids vs. Adults Wiffleball Game, where players take on their parents and coaches in a lighthearted, laughter-filled matchup. It’s a perfect way to wrap up the season with smiles, friendly competition, and lasting memories for everyone involved.
